Notice of the Annual General Meeting of Wodonga Hockey Club
This is to advise you of the upcoming Annual General Meeting. Details of this meeting are as follows:

At the meeting, post a motion being moved, members will be asked to vote to:
- accept the minutes of the last annual general meeting
- accept the Treasurer’s report
- accept the President’s report
- elect committee of management
In addition to, and as aligned with our Constitution and By-laws, the following special resolution/s will also be proposed:
Special Resolution 1:
It is resolved that Wodonga Hockey Club Inc amend 27 (d) * In 2005 the Dave Chandler Memorial Cup was donated by the Poppins family. Each year, on a weekend either side of the 4th of July, Wodonga Hockey Club Division 1 Men play against their appointed opposition with the winning side being awarded the Dave Chandler Memorial Cup for that year. The winning club’s name is engraved on the Cup, to; Each year, on a weekend either side of the 4th of July, Wodonga Hockey Club Division 1 Men play against the Magpies Hockey Club with the winning side being awarded the Chandler-Maggs Memorial Shield for that year. The winning Club’s name is engraved on the Shield. Changes to be reflected in the Club Bylaws as set out in the document entitled “WHC Bylaws 7/12/21” and in line with the WHC constitution.
Special Resolution 2:
It is resolved that Wodonga Hockey Club Inc amends rule 3 (c) (ii) b;
a medal with the Club logo and Legend on the front, engraved with their name and year on the back; to a plague/shield with the Club logo, Legend title, name, and year engraved on the front, furthermore the deletion of c. a framed certificate or plaque. Changes are to be reflected in the Club Bylaws as set out in the document entitled “WHC Bylaws 7/12/21” and in line with the WHC constitution.
Special Resolution 3:
The Committee of the Wodonga Hockey Club proceeds with the processing (payments) of its financial commitment in the support of the construction of the Club’s new Club House and Change Rooms, up to the maximum value of $200K.
In consideration of the resolution.
(i) Club contribution towards the project has been approved and allocated at AGM 2018
(ii) Club funding commitment formed part of the grant conditions – Federal 2019, State 2020, Council 2020 and 2021, and
(iii) Payment of the Clubs financial contribution will be required to be made between December 2022 and April 2023
Special Resolution 4:
The Committee of the Wodonga Hockey Club proceed with the processing (payments) to fit out with necessary functional items, allowing the running of the Club’s new Club House and Change Rooms, up to the maximum value of $40K.
