Hockey Albury Wodonga Div 2 Men Premiers…..Wodonga!!
What a fantastic result. From the very first whistle it was obvious boys has taken the field to play…and to play hungry…they wanted this badly after falling just short over the last couple of years!
Defence stood up brilliantly, and repelled numerous United attacks in the first 15 minutes. The boys then found their offensive rhythm and applied their own pressure, and did it effectively! By half time the boys had a 2-0 lead, thanks to some beautiful lead up play and deflections!
Shortly in to the second half, a top of the D field goal found the net…and the win was in the bag!
Well done guys…enjoy the celebration!!
That made it three wins from the four sides that made it through to the Grand Finals!! A great return!!
